A good and testing round

A beautiful tight course requiring thought and good shot placement. Don't be put off by its length as it will suit the golfer who thinks a lot and doesn't necessarily power their way around a course.

Many of the holes require care to negotiate the two streams and bunkers. Golfers who play regularly know only too well that the 9th hole, stroke index one, needs to be mastered if a reasonable score is to be achieved.

An accurate tee shot avoiding the out of bounds on the right has to be made leaving a mid iron into the green; choose a driver and you can have a nightmare. A good test of golf on a short course.
