Position: ArtsTrain Programme Coordinator & Producer

Reports to: ArtsTrain Programme Manager & Producer

Location: Bromley Area (BR1)

Salary: £25,000

Job Type: Full time, fixed Term until 31st March 2022, (may include evening and weekend working), extension of contract subject to continued funding

About the role

We are looking for a well organised individual to support the coordination of ArtsTrain, our award winning creative music programme for young people.  As part of Arts Council England’s National Portfolio ArtsTrain is delivered across the London Boroughs of Bromley, Bexley and Lewisham.  The ArtsTrain Programme Coordinator & Producer will be responsible for coordinating and producing a coherent and exciting creative music programme for young people age 11-25.  Knowledge of the education and music education sector is essential as is an understanding of the issues facing young people and developing artists. Central to the role is the need to build and strengthen relationships with partners and to work effectively recruiting and deploying music practitioners.  The role requires excellent organisation, planning and communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team as well as using your own initiative.
