Position: Crèche Assistant

Location: Orpington, Kent
Salary: £8,374.20 per annum
Job Type: Permanent, part time (20 hours per week for 51 weeks per year). You may be required to start work at 8.00am or 8.45am.
Start date: ASAP

About the role:
We are recruiting for a Crèche Assistant to work in our popular and busy crèche facility and you will support the Crèche Leader in providing a happy, safe and secure environment for the under 5 children of parents/care givers using the centre.
Our ideal candidate will have a professional manner and bundles of confidence and have a commitment to providing high quality child care in a safe and enjoyable environment. You must be friendly and approachable and remain calm under pressure. An awareness of the importance of play and the needs of the individual child is also essential.
You should have a Level 2 Childcare qualification or equivalent. A Pediatric First Aid qualification is also desirable. Ideally, you should have gained experience of working with under 5s.
