Position: Data Manager
Reports to: Head of IT
Location: Bromley
Salary: £30k – 35k DOE
Job Type: Permanent/Full time

About the role

We are looking for a Data Manager to shape information governance and data life cycle management for the company.

The role reports into the Head of IT Transformation. Responsibilities include setting the principles, standards and procedures for data management and being the primary subject-matter expert for all matters relating to data management.

To be successful in this role; you will need to bring the whole business functions along on the journey. Whilst the role will have a significant focus on IT systems for data management it will also guide the business on its ownership and stewardship of data across all processing and media.

The role has close working relationships with IT Operations and the Data Protection Officer to ensure the secure and lawful processing of data.

Ultimately, you will facilitate data compliance through transparent data protection policies, systems and procedures.
