Exciting news on the refurbishment of West Wickham and Walnuts Leisure centres.
Bromley Council have confirmed their refurbishment plans for two of our leisure centres. West Wickham Leisure Centre and Walnuts Leisure Centre in Orpington will receive a multi-million-pound investment, reopening with state-of-the-art facilities!
Due to the unplanned closure of West Wickham Leisure Centre, following structural issues being identified, the refurbishment works have been brought forward. This means that West Wickham will remain closed for around 18 months while the refurbishment is completed.
Walnuts leisure centre will remain open until early 2025 when a phased refurbishment will begin, starting with dry-side facilities.
We will continue to communicate with our West Wickham customers via email and app alerts, and will update the West Wickham web page with all the latest information.
We thank you for your patience, and would like to remind you that as a Mytime Active member you can use any of our centres. This includes gyms, group exercise classes, and swimming pools at our other leisure centres in the Borough of Bromley – Biggin Hill Pool, Darrick Wood Pool, The Pavilion Leisure Centre, The Spa at Beckenham and Walnuts Leisure Centre.
