Programme Manager & Producer - ArtsTrain

 

Position:  Programme Manager & Producer

Location: Bromley Region

Salary:  £32,000 (Pro Rata) 

Hours: 32 hours per week (Evenings and weekends will be required)

The role:

  1. To manage and monitor the delivery of a coherent and exciting creative music programme for 11-25s
  2. To work with artists, education, community and creative industry partners to maximise the opportunities for young people
  3. To recruit and manage a team of artists and consultants to the programme
  4. To build new and maintain existing relationships with ArtsTrain project partners, leading on communication, project and event planning
  5. To monitor, review and evaluate the programme, coordinating the collection of both qualitative and quantitative programme data and recruiting an evaluation partner for more in-depth evaluation. 
  6. To attend project sessions to observe and monitor lead artist/ facilitators, report back on progress and feed back to artists.
  7. To represent and act as ambassador for the ArtsTrain programme at external events.

Skills and abilities

  • Very strong communication skills with a wide range of individuals/organisations#
  • Exceptional writing skills, particularly fundraising applications and copy/report writing
  • Proven project planning management skills
  • Proven ability to pro actively organise with an attention to detail
  • Able to build relationships and influence others to facilitate team and partnership working.
  • Proven ability to establish priorities and work to competing deadlines.
  • Strong digital literacy with proven ability to embrace digital platforms

Experience & Knowledge

  • Experience of working with artists and creating participatory music projects
  • Experience of working with a range of education/ third sector/ arts organisation partners
  • Demonstrable experience of evaluation processes and report writing
  • Experience of working with artists and creating participatory music projects

  • Knowledge of the music sector, particularly producers/composers/facilitators  
  • Knowledge and understanding of the issues facing young people and developing artists
