Darrick Wood Swimming Pool

Important Customer Update: Darrick Wood Swimming Pool Temporary Closure (30.10.26)

Darrick Wood Pool update - 30th October 2026

The scaffolding is now in place, allowing the team to carry out the necessary investigatory works, assess the situation and help determine the work needed.

Therefore, the pool will remain closed for at another week while we await the outcome of these investigations.

In the meantime, Swim Only Members and Swim Lesson Customers can continue to enjoy swimming at any of our other Bromley pools at no extra cost until further notice. There’s nothing you need to do – this will be applied automatically to your membership.

You can swim at any of the following locations:

The Pavilion Leisure Centre
The Spa at Beckenham
Walnuts Leisure Centre
Biggin Hill Pool

We’re really sorry for the continued disruption and appreciate your patience and understanding while we work to assess the situation.

Thank you for bearing with us. We will be in touch next week with another update.
