The fastest way to improve your game is by regular, one-to-one lessons. At Mytime Active, we believe that golf lessons should always be provided in welcoming learning environments. Our focus is on providing a friendly, informal and encouraging way to learn and we offer lessons for beginners and for seasoned players who want to improve their game.

Our team of PGA Professionals pride themselves on the quality and style of their coaching. Whether it’s a one-off lesson to fix a fault, or you’re looking for a structured course of lessons, we will help you up your golfing game.

Join our fun, friendly and affordable group lessons for beginners and improvers and learn to play golf in six weeks, from just £33!

As part of your six week course, you will be taken through the basics of the game including techniques and putting, and have an introduction to the golf course.

All equipment will be provided free of charge for your lessons and you can even come back and use our clubs when you’re ready to venture out onto the course. These sessions are open to everyone - whatever your age or ability, we look forward to welcoming you.

We will provide all the equipment for you, and with no strict uniform policy, you can turn up as you are to our golf courses. Round up your family and friends for the perfect new activity.

Head PGA Teaching Professional: Tristan Hodgkinson

Tristan started his golf career in Nottinghamshire at Sherwood Forest Golf Club, turning professional in 1990 and becoming a qualified PGA member in 1993. He was awarded PGA Advanced Status in 2010, and in 2012 he was voted one of the Top 100 Coaches in the UK by Golf World.

Capturing and analysing ball flight and swing errors with high speed video analysis and launch monitor technology, Tristan uses a combination of simple drills, practice routines and various swing aids to help students fix their problems and ultimately improve as golfers.

Whether you are a complete beginner or low handicap player, Tristan’s relaxed and friendly personality coupled with his extensive knowledge of the golf swing is sure to give you a enjoyable and rewarding golf lesson here at Bromley Golf Centre.

Tristan offers a number of packages which you can use to develop one or more areas of your game, spending time on your swing, areas of the short game or on the golf course. All golf lessons are designed to help move your game to the level you would like to achieve, and include v1 video analysis.

PGA Teaching Professional: Joe Short

Joe has been playing golf since 1998. He was a member at West Kent Golf Club as a junior and started his PGA course at the age of 18. Joe got down to a 3 handicap and was part of a very successful junior squad, becoming the Junior Captain of the club in his last year.

Joe graduated from the PGA academy in April 2018 and is now a fully qualified PGA Teaching Professional. He has been teaching all levels of golfers since 2014. His recent qualification makes him very capable of teaching all abilities and ages.

The lessons are given in a friendly, professional atmosphere with video analysis of the golf swing to get to the root cause of your golfing problems quickly. With drills and expert help, these packages can help you advance your golf game.

PGA Assistant Professional: Oli Newman

Oli came into golf what is considered late in life at the age of 23, but fell in love with the sport. He has worked extremely hard on his own game to begin his coaching journey with the PGA academy in 2020 and is set to complete his qualification this year.

Ball flight and swing tendencies are captured using high speed video analysis and state of the art GC Quad launch monitor technology. A combination of drills, practice plans and training aids are used to help students to understand their current tendencies and to improve their overall golf. No matter if you’re a complete beginner or experienced golfer, Oli provides a friendly and professional environment for all lessons making it the perfect for all ages and abilities.

Oli offers a variety of packages which can be used to improve all areas of your game. Using our 20 bay floodlit driving range, practice bunker, short game area and 9 hole golf course, lessons can be tailored to all your needs. All lessons are aimed to help you understand your current swing and help you move in the direction you want. Lesson feedback will be provided via OnForm so you’re able to practice efficiency between lessons.

PGA Teaching Professional: Keith Smithson

Keith has a wealth of experience, from captaining the Kent PGA in 1993 to teaching golf and English in the Far East.

Keith has a very user-friendly teaching method, keeping it simple to help beginners blossom into established golfers.

Available every day at £20 for 30 minutes or 6 lessons for £100.

PGA Teaching Professional Joe Short is a former Junior Captain who recognises the benefits golf can bring to young people, and the importance of making it fun. Lessons cost £20 for a half hour lesson, or £100 for six.
