New reopening date for West Wickham Leisure Centre

Bromley Council has submitted a new planning application, with the reopening now expected in early 2028 (originally 2026). The extra time allows for a partial rebuild - bringing a modern, accessible space with a new café, gym, changing rooms, reception area, and a competition-length pool.

West Wickham Leisure centre is now closed for refurbishment by Bromley Council and is due to reopen in 2028.

This exciting new development will receive a multi-million pound investment and will open with new and improved facilities! In the meantime, there’s plenty to keep you active.
