Sport England have released their Active Lives Children and Young People Survey Academic Year 2017/18. The findings show that 1 in 3 children are accumulating less than 30 minutes of physical activity a day, with fewer than 1 in 5 meeting the Chief Medical Officer’s guidance of at least 60 minutes of physical activity every day. Less affluent families, disabled people and girls are even less likely to meet the guideline.
