A good start to 2018 for Team Bromley

At the start of February, our male and female cricket teams kicked off the second event of the 2018 London Youth Games and the first of the New Year. The teams travelled across London to Harrow Leisure Centre to take part in the qualifiers.

With Team Bromley currently sitting in joint first place after gold and silver successes in the female and male cross country events in November, we were hoping for some good results from both the cricket teams to secure more points for Team Bromley. 

The female team love a trip to Lords and hoped to reach the finals once again, having finished consistently in the top three for the past three years. The male team have found themselves just outside a qualification place in previous years.

After some tough competition and some hard fought games during the qualifying weekend, we are delighted to report that this year both female and male cricket teams made it through to the finals at Lords Indoor Cricket Ground.

The finals take place on Sunday 25th February from 9am to 4.30pm.
