Mytime Active wins at Business in the Community Awards

On Tuesday 3rd July, Cheryl Gill from the London team represented Mytime Active at the Prince’s Business in the Community Awards.

With our four partners, we won the Connected Places award, recognising our work on a contract commissioned by Morgan Stanley.

Since 2015 Mytime Active have delivered MEND programmes and healthy cooking workshops as part of Morgan Stanley’s Healthy London CSR project.

The project is based in Poplar, Tower Hamlets, and brings local charities together so parents, carers and children can enjoy better access to wellness, nutrition and play.

The award recognises effective partnership work between Mytime Active, Magic Breakfast, Bromley by Bow Centre, Play Association Tower Hamlets and Toyhouse Libraries Association of Tower Hamlets.

This huge achievement is underpinned by the high quality delivery of our MEND programmes by Georgia Puckett (nutritionist) and Dominque Dacosta (physical activity leader). Together they have continuously achieved KPIs, including 425 cooking workshops a year, and transform the lives of the families they support through their workshops and classes. This year they both set out to deliver Tower Hamlets' first MEND in Schools, starting in September.
