Santa Dash success is catching!

This year’s 4th Mytime Active Bromley Santa Dash was the biggest and best yet, with around 1,000 local residents taking part in the fun-filled Yuletide yomp.

Local people are encouraged to take part just for the fun of it and the event succeeds in its aim of getting family, friends and neighbours of all ages to get active and moving at Christmas while having fun. You can see some great pictures of people having fun at the Santa Dash on the News Shopper website.

Rob Drinkwater of Mytime Active’s Partnerships team, who organise the Santa Dash, said:

"We are very happy with the outcome of this year’s event. The Bromley Santa Dash is now firmly established in the community and people started enrolling with very little promotion or advertising.
"This year we are trying out two more Santa Dashes with one at Sandwell, Birmingham (Sandwell Santa Dash) with the health team there and at Dibden Golf Centre (Solent Santa Dash), near Southampton next weekend on Saturday the 5th and Sunday 6th December. If they work well, it is possible we could continue them and roll out some more Santa Dashes at other Mytime Active sites."
