Seriously Social Day 2 - Matt's May Fitness Passport Challenge

Mytime Active Staff Step Up for May Fitness Passport Challenge

It’s not just our members’ health and wellbeing that we care about at Mytime Active – we look after our teams too!

To encourage staff to focus on their own wellbeing, Matt Fitch, Group Fitness & Wellbeing Manager, challenged colleagues across the organisation to take part in the May Fitness Passport Challenge. What quickly became clear was that we’re a pretty competitive bunch here at Mytime Active!

The challenge saw 23 members of staff getting involved throughout May, creating plenty of friendly competition, positive energy, and conversations around health and wellbeing. Designed to encourage colleagues to explore different wellbeing activities and services, the challenge inspired staff to try something new, support one another, and make time for their own physical and mental wellbeing.

Some fantastic achievements from the month included:

Matt Fitch - Group Fitness & Wellbeing Manager

  • 10 staff members completed a Health Assessment
  • 7 attended a Group Fitness Class
  • 13 completed a Vital-5 Check
  • 16 trained with a colleague
  • 21 achieved the 10,000-step challenge

In total, an impressive 67 challenge stamps were collected across all activities.

One of the biggest successes of the challenge was seeing staff make small but meaningful changes to their daily routines. Whether it was fitting in extra steps, trying a new activity for the first time, or teaming up with a colleague for a workout, the challenge encouraged positive habits that can have a lasting impact on overall wellbeing.

Beyond the numbers, the challenge highlighted the supportive culture that exists across Mytime Active. Colleagues motivated one another, shared their progress, and embraced opportunities to prioritise their health while having fun along the way.

Following the success of the May challenge, plans are already underway for the next Fitness Passport Challenge, which is set to launch in July. Staff are encouraged to share any ideas or suggestions for activities they would like to see included.

A huge well done to everyone who took part. The enthusiasm, commitment, and team spirit shown throughout the month made the challenge a great success, and we look forward to seeing what July brings!
