Working towards a fit and healthy childhood

Mytime Active’s Business Development and Marketing Director Phil Veasey and Lead for Physical Activity Dan Lee attended a committee meeting to launch a report by the All Party Parliamentary Group on a Fit and Healthy Childhood – Physical Education.

Other attendees included chair Helen Clarke, Baroness Floella Benjamin OBE, and Shadow Minister for Sport Dr Rosena Allin-Kahn MP.

The report recommends attaching the same importance to PE in schools as to other subjects, improving the physical and mental health and wellbeing of children and young people.

Mytime Active sponsored the report and contributed towards publication.

The report has already received a great deal of media attention, including coverage on BBC News and LBC Radio.
