Our swimming pools in Bromley are there so everyone can benefit from swimming, no matter what your age or ability. As well as being a good form of cardio exercise, there are various health benefits associated with swimming. Enjoying a regular swim will help to reduce your risk of disease and stress levels and offers a safe way to exercise during pregnancy too. Combining a swim with a gym workout is the ultimate way to get fit and stay healthy.
Learn to Swim
We're helping everyone to stay safe and have fun in the water. We've developed our Swim England accredited swimming lesson programme around you and your children. It’s a fantastic experience that opens up new possibilities for everyone - whether it's starting on the swimming lesson journey, improving technique or getting more comfortable in the water. We offer structured and progressive coaching with qualified swimming instructors. We follow the Swim England Learn to Swim Programme, and our swimmers’ progress is continually assessed. For every stage or course you complete, you'll receive a certificate and badge to acknowledge your achievement.
As well as our eight-lane, 25-metre regional competition sized pool, there's a 20m x 10m teaching pool with a moveable floor that can be raised or lowered for disabled access and a wide variety of swimming lessons and water activities.
Please note that snorkels and masks are not allowed, for reasons of health and safety.
Make a splash
Our award-winning pool is now even more fun, with our inflatable Urban Dub Decks. As well as regular sessions on Saturdays between 3pm and 5pm, look out for special sessions during the school holidays, or book exclusive use for your child's pool party.
The Pisces Swimming Club is an informal group for less mobile adult swimmers, including those recovering or suffering from a medical condition or injury.
Sessions take place in the training pool on Wednesdays from 12pm to 1.30pm. Trained staff will always be on hand, and can help members into and out of the water using the hoist, but this isn't a formal lesson and you are free to do your own thing. There is no charge other than the standard entry fee.
