We would like to take this opportunity to update you with the ongoing challenges currently being faced at Walnuts Leisure Centre. Firstly, it is important to acknowledge and thank you for your loyalty and patience as a customer at the centre. We appreciate how important the facilities and services are to the local community and how essential physical activity is to many community groups and individuals. For these reasons Mytime Active, who operates the site, and the London Borough of Bromley (LBB), who is the landlord, are dedicated to improving the ongoing maintenance issues being experienced with the heating system and apologise sincerely for the inconvenience being caused. The heating supply to Walnuts Leisure Centre, which also fed other businesses in close proximity, became increasingly unreliable. Therefore, working in conjunction with LBB we have had to isolate the other services and install a separate containment boiler for the Walnuts Leisure Centre and the Saxon Centre only. LBB have given us condence there will be no disruption to service during the works and we have continued to work on contingency plans for hot water supply during this period, including electrical works to aid hot water supply to the showers at the Walnuts Leisure Centre. There is a delay on the nal completion of these works due to the installation of the Gas Supply, we are continuing to work with LBB to have all works completed as soon as possible. We would like to reinforce our apologies for the ongoing inconveniences and thank you for your patience.
