Hatha Yoga is considered a gentle style of yoga, focusing on breath, mind and body. Great for beginners through focus on static poses, the class also includes a short period for mediation at the end, so you'll leave the class feeling relaxed and refreshed.
Hatha Yoga focuses particularly on 3 main areas including:
- Breath: Focus on your breath or 'pranayama'. Perfect your breathing technique to help relax and have some quality 'me time'
- Poses. Focus on your postures or 'asanas'. These are linked movements that challenge your flexibility, strength and also balancing skills
- Meditation. A period of quiet reflection to end the class, guided by your instructor.
Hatha Flow Yoga
This class uses Hatha Yoga fundamentals of breath, poses and mediation, but moves at a faster pace. Perfect for those who enjoy Hatha Yoga but looking for an extra challenge.

Hot temperatures and high humidity make your muscles more pliable and make it easier for your muscles to stretch. This means you can increase your muscles range of motion and stretch deeper within each pose. To help your body manage the heat and therefore keep your skin cool, you will experience an increased heart rate compared to traditional Yoga. This means you get a good cardio workout while working on your flex.
