Chant and meditate

Sivananda yoga is one of the slower-paced styles of yoga that focuses more on meditation, breathing, and spirituality. The style is based on five branches of yoga philosophy: relaxation, meditation, diet, positive thinking, exercise, and proper breathing.

Most recognised as the class that starts and ends with chanting and meditation, and uses the same 12 basic poses (asanas) and Sun Salutations throughout the class.

This style of yoga is perfect if you want to do yoga for meditation, stress relief, and self-empowerment. It is also a recommended style for older participants who are looking to re-energise their body or for those who are searching for a positive change to their lifestyle - incorporating diet and positive thinking with every class.
