Leisure reopening FAQs

We begin reopening our sites from 4th December and we can't wait to see you soon. If you've got any questions about our reopening, check out our FAQs below.

What sites and facilities are reopening?

We’re working to reopen all of our leisure facilities as soon as possible. At first, we will be opening our centres in stages following the schedule below. Don’t worry if you don’t see your home site on the list, we’ll be in touch to let you know it’s opening date as soon as it’s been confirmed. In the meantime, all our members have access to all our centres throughout December.

Can I use my membership at other sites?

Yes, for the whole of December all of our members are able to access all our open centres.

When can I book a session?

We are working on getting your favourite activities bookable.  Please lookout for the alert to say you can book.  The alerts will be on the Mytime Active website, App and Facebook

What social distancing measures do you have in place?

We’ll be reopening with the same tired and tested, government approved safety measures as before. These measures were proven effective by a ukactive study showing very low transmission rates of just 0.34 per 100,000 at gym and leisure facilities in England.

Please click here for the full list of social distancing measures

Will I be charged for the period of your closure?

No, you won’t be charged for the period of our closure. Please see your membership type below for further details.

Direct Debit membership - As you had already paid for your next month when we were told to close, you won’t be charged for December. Your next payment will be taken on 1st January.

Annual membership – We’ve automatically extended your membership for the month of our closure.

Pay and play – All sessions which were booked during our period of closure have been recredited back to your Mytime Active account. To book online using your credit, please click here

I can’t find my usual class on the schedule. Where has it gone?

We’re reopening with our December timetable, which is slightly reduced as less people usually attend during this time. Don’t worry, our new timetable launches on 1st January 2021 with LOTS of your favourite classes to help you kick start the new year! All our members have access to all our leisure centres during December, so now is the perfect opportunity to try something new at another site.

I’m not sure I want to come back just yet.

Studies show that gyms and leisure centres are safe with a very low transmission rates of just 0.34 per 100,000 at gym and leisure facilities in England. If, however, you wish to freeze your membership for the time being, this option is still available to you. Please email contactcentre@mytimeactive.co.uk before 1st December to arrange.
